Celebrate What Connects Us on Jan. 20, 2021
Nebraska's favorite holiday, I Love Public Schools Day, returns for the sixth annual celebration on January 20, 2021.
If you can believe it, the sixth annual I Love Public Schools Day is right around the corner. On January 20, 2021, celebrate what connects teachers, students, and our communities to public schools.
In a time where our public schools are providing an unprecedented lifeline for families, it’s essential to recognize how our public schools have been the through-line for the stories of our greater communities. From our past to our present, public schools – it’s educators, graduates, and current students – are the thread that unites our communities. Whoever you are, the legacy of public education impacts your life and our shared future.
Every year, millions of people participate in I Love Public Schools Day, a mostly virtual celebration, and we hear thousands of stories that demonstrate strong support for public education in Nebraska and beyond.
Join communities across Nebraska in celebration of our public schools. Discover ways to get involved – and, don’t forget to post why you support public schools on social media using #ilovepublicschools.
