In Nebraska, Educational Service Units (ESUs) are designed to provide support to school districts, including staff development, instructional guidance, and access to technology.
At ESU 11 in Holdrege, staff members are well versed in cutting-edge technology and passionate about helping teachers incorporate it into their classrooms in a way that engages students in fun, hands-on learning. At instructional workshops, often called professional learning communities, teachers are able to connect with peers from other districts, learn about new standards, and explore different ways to include new concepts or instructional styles into their classrooms.
