This month, Nebraska Loves Public Schools director and executive producer, Sally Nellson Barrett, debuts as the featured guest on the Breaker Society Podcast, a podcast about the thinkers, doers, and movement starters.

In this episode, host Shane Haggerty explores what inspired our director and executive producer to go from telling the stories of banks and investment managers to focusing on the stories of students, teachers, families, and communities, all centered on public education.

Natural disasters can be especially traumatic for students and the devastation to a familiar environment — a home, school, or community — can be long-lasting, distressing, and traumatic.
