In March of 2019, a combination of storms shattered flood records in Eastern Nebraska. The community of North Bend was one of the hardest hit. Water levels reached close to five feet forcing the town to evacuate.
In 2013 voters overwhelmingly approved a $7.37 million bond issue for North Bend Public Schools, specifically impacting infrastructure and academic facilities. When storms hit, this commitment to education paid dividends in unexpected and life-changing ways.

Premiere Screening Event
Join North Bend Central Public Schools at the Tiger Arena on Saturday, June 26 for a première screening of the 10-minute film as part of The Old Settlers event. The film screening and discussion will held in part of the larger community celebration, organized and sponsored by the North Bend Area Chamber of Commerce.
