I am so proud of our PIE (Partners in Education) program-similar to PTA. Usually this is just an elementary organization but our group decided to include our Middle and High School teachers in special activities. At the beginning of the year they brought us First Day Survival Kits: cups-for when ours overflows; Tootsie Rolls -roll with the punches; Laffy Taffy- keep your sense of humor; Animal Crackers- when your room is like a zoo. During parent teacher conferences they supplied light meals and even surprise us with treats during teacher appreciation week. What a privilege to have these people serving us as we serve their children.
