The theme of Wahoo Middle School is "Be awesome and kind." Several activities are in the works. Today each student wrote a note of encouragement to another student. After the notes were delivered, they were attached to the wall in the commons. One note in particular really caught my attention. Two students just arrived from another country. They have very limited understanding of the English language so communication is difficult. The note written to one of them read as follows: "You seem super nice and I am excited to have you in the school this year." The recipient's smile was priceless.
