Mr. Gaylor was my marketing teacher in the year 1991 at Central High School. I used to give that guy so many negative opinions of the marketing profession I probably drove him crazy. I remember running into him years later at a restaurant and when he asked what I did professionally, I explained that I am working in marketing for Microsoft. We both had a good laugh over that one.
On a personal level, I also recall a time where I was going through a tough time, and when I gave his daughter a ride home from college (we both attended U of IA)….we sat in his driveway and talked for at least a couple hours. Such a great guy and always willing to listen. Congrats Mr. Gaylor! --Matt Hoffman
