Story By:
Mitchell Roush

As a young student I had a lisp. I hated reading. I was disruptive, loud, opinionated.
But I loved stories.
Public school teachers saw my potential. They helped my speech and literacy. They empowered me to find my voice through writing.
Now, I tell stories and create opportunities to amplify student and teacher voices for a living.
I can't think of a more admirable career than to be working in public school public relations. Getting to support and celebrate students and teachers every day is the opportunity of a lifetime.
Public school changed my life.
