I Love Public Schools I Love Public Schools

As the new superintendent at Shickley Public Schools, my children, husband, & I are all new faces at school and in the community. The staff, students, and community have shown nothing but kindness and love to my family. This Big Little Town and Public School is full of #BeKind examples: students stepping up to introduce themselves to new students; a principal starting the new year with root beer floats for everyone; a Board serving lunch to all staff, substitutes, and volunteers; a staff welcoming and embracing new administration; a community coming together for an annual back to school potluck; a 2nd grade student helping a new student into the office after she scraped her knee on the playground; a 1st grade student showing empathy to a substitute teacher after hearing her husband had passed away; teachers giving hugs and high fives to students; simply people being kind to people. In a world where you can be anything, Shickley Public Schools and its community chooses to #BeKind!
