For the last Feel the Love Friday of the 2020-2021 school year, we are celebrating an amazing educator on her last year of teaching before retirement!
Brenda Roberts currently teaches Preschool at Crawford Public Schools but has held many different titles throughout her 35 years as an educator.
Watch as Superintendent Mo Hanks surprises her with her Feel the Love Friday gift at their weekly Ram Roundup. It’s clear from their reactions that the students love her.
We had the honor of chatting with Brenda about her philosophy as an educator, her hopes for the future of education, and more. Plus, you have to hear her share an amazing story of a student finding growth and success after many years working with Brenda!
Another surprise? We also received a lovely special message from current Para and Brenda’s previous second-grade student, Billie Wasserburger.
How to celebrate Feel the Love Friday
On the first Friday of every month we ask educators, students, parents, and community members to wear their I Love Public Schools gear and share a memory or a story about their public school.
Each month we also highlight one school and surprise an exceptional educator from that school! Look for our posts throughout the day on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
