Join Nebraska Loves Public Schools for one of our premiere screenings of our new series, The Mind Inside. The film will be followed by a discussion with the director, Sally Nellson Barrett. A post-screening Take Action Reception featuring area non-profits will follow.
Immediately after the film there will be a “Take Action” reception with area nonprofits providing opportunity for audiences to learn what’s facing students and schools today and how to show empathy, support, and understanding for the students in the community. This will be a wonderful time to encourage volunteers, donors and others to become aware of your organization and support your work with a direct call to action.
Please fill out the information below to reserve a space at the event. The reservation of a Take Action space is free of charge for selected nonprofits. Space is limited.
Created by Nebraska Loves Public Schools, The Mind Inside explores one of the most pressing and complicated issues in public education today, mental health. Schools are being asked to address immediate and varied needs of students and provide more social, emotional, and behavioral support services than ever before. In this new I Love Public Schools film series, learn what’s facing students and schools today and how to show empathy, support, and understanding for the students in our community.
In select theaters November 14 and at iloveps.org January 18.
