One of my favorite traditions is letting the kids throw a pie at a teacher's face. The school raises money for a charity. If a child donates a specific amount, they get to choose a teacher that they want to hit with a pie. This past year, a student requested me! For the last 2 weeks of school, it was all she could talk about. On the last day, she got to throw her pie. Getting hit with a pie does not sound fun, but I was honored that she picked me to throw her pie at! (Our donations went to the Alzheimer's Association.)
