Mr. Haynes has been the perfect man to lead Omaha North High School. He is a man that commands respect. He is a man that loves his community. I was basically a nobody at Omaha North - a blip on the radar - who played golf for North and who admittedly wasn't very good in high school. Mr. Haynes knew me by name. Fast forward to probably 2015 (or so) I came across Mr. Haynes at a Homecoming Football game. I hadn't seen him since I graduated in 1997 and he still called me Brother Finley. I was honored that he still knew who I am. Mr. Haynes will be missed and Omaha North High School will be forever changed by his leadership.
