My 4th grade teacher was the one who encouraged me to do and be my best as a student. I struggled with math and needed to do extra work most of the time, but she helped and encouraged me. I was a good reader, but reading wasn't something I loved until my teacher held me accountable and I found stories that I loved. It was a hard school year, but it was the year I made the most growth thanks to my teacher.
