This is our 10th Anniversary hosting Chautauqua as a service learning project. This year our theme was centered around Disney characters or Disney movies. This project allows our students to present historical characters or themed characters for the public to view to raise money to support local, state, national, or world organizations. Through these oral presentations, our students develop the confidence to present difficult topics to community members. Our proceeds from this project go on to support organizations like St. Jude's, Make a Wish and other fine charitable organizations. Over the past 10 years, $9,000 was raised and spread throughout the world to make an impact on our communities.
