I am proud to be a part of Ralston Public Schools! At our school, Seymour Elementary, we take pride in taking notice of students and staff that support positive attitudes in our school! My favorite way we celebrate this is our end of the month assembly/pep rally! Teachers select a student they feel has been a leader in class. All other students in the school sit along the wall in the gym. When our leaders come into the gym we crank the music up and they walk around the gym getting high fives from their peers and teachers. Then students gather in the center of the gym and get a chance to be celebrated! They are awarded with some gifts and our love! Teachers are also recognized for positivity! It is truly a fun and happy time to recognize those that take the lead and want to make a difference! #bekind #theRalstonWay
