Mrs.Lisa Fricke, taught English and Spanish at Niobrara Public Schools during the 80s and 90s. Lisa is a current State School Board member and was always engaging in the classroom. Spanish class turned into Spanish Club and we even sang Feliz Navidad at the Winter Music Program. Extended learning was a given and if you didn’t think you liked the stories by the time she was finished, you did.

Lisa was a Drama and Speech coach and always had high expectations of her students. She chose one-act plays that were spoofs on Julius Caesars stories making English classes easier to understand. She knew how to engage her students in the classroom, on the stage and in the community.
