Mrs. Stephany Albritton, Media Specialist, Westridge Elementary Students are inspired to love reading largely due to Mrs. Albritton. Mrs. Albritton is an animated reader and finds the perfect books for students to bring home. She knows how to get kids excited about any topic. She orders books off student’s wish lists to keep them inspired. When students pass the Golden Sower tests, Mrs. Albritton celebrates them emailing a picture home to share in the excitement.
Students are exposed to STEM project-based learning during Media. Mrs. Albritton takes time to listen to student’s ideas and help them find ways to explore interests in science and coding. Her love for STEM has developed a passion in many students thus changing their lives---and future for years to come. Mrs. Albritton wears many hats at Westridge. Her impact is tremendous each day. She also has a positive attitude, contagious laugh, great jokes, and an infectious personality. We are lucky to have her.
