I Love Public Schools I Love Public Schools

Story By:

A cartoon-style ghost stands in front of two rows of houses separated by a fenced in yard and framed by trees

I worked with watercolors and pen to make a colorful and bright piece with simple lines. The painting represents my childhood memories. [This] is the neighborhood that I live in, but with bits and pieces changed to add more memories to the scene. Almost everything in this art piece has a story. From the swing set to the car, and airplane. The white figures are meant to represent different versions of me as I was growing up. This piece is nostalgic and is full of stories from my childhood
