Art Bus LNK’s mission began when founder Letura Idigima asked students what they were working on at home. Letura quickly realized that many students had limited or no access to art supplies. She set out to make art more accessible by creating Lincoln’s first free mobile art studio.

Letura and the Art Bus are bringing workshops and supplies to all kinds of creatives and providing a safe space for kids to express themselves. From ceramics and jewelry making to painting and drawing, the Art Bus LNK aims to support all forms of art and help Lincoln students tap into their creativity.

We were fortunate enough to chat with Letura, and she shared her experience as a Special Needs Paraeducator and her goal of making the bus accessible to all, regardless of ability, experience, or age.
