Brenden Cunningham and some of his “magical” wands
Blumfield Elementary in Ralston offers an after school program called the "Leaky Cauldron Club" where students can listen to an audio book from the Harry Potter series and follow along in their book. The instructor (Ms Brookhouser) has made the overall experience really fun with a decorated classroom and themed activities. My son (Brenden Cunningham) got the idea to make every student in the club a wand. Many evenings at home were spent handcrafting each wand from chopsticks, hot glue and paint. He even made wands for everyone in the second session of the club as well. I'm so proud of his creativity and kindness, and thankful for this school program.
