Lichelle Houchin has been a blessing to our son, Dawson for many years! She began working with him as his resource teacher once he was identified with autism. She has been on his team advocating for him and his growth ever since! This year she moved positions and has become his kindergarten classroom teacher. The growth I’ve seen in him the past 3 years she has worked with him has been unimaginable. He loves school, and loves her! She always embraces his love of learning and animals. She creates an environment where he’s embraced and respected and it shows. She always has wonderful things to say about every student in her class, and it’s evident she’s in the right field of work. We’re so thankful she’s had such a significant impact on Dawson’s life and education.
