Deja Brew is coffee shop developed by students at Fremont High School

The entrepreneurship students at Fremont High School planned for, and started, a school coffee shop over the last 7 months. It was truly developed from the ground up, completely by students. They partnered with other classes throughout the process, including industrial tech, graphic design and journalism. The students are now responsible for running the day to day operations of the business and gaining valuable first hand knowledge.

The story of this student business has run nationally in newspapers from coast to coast. We have also gotten inquiries from other schools around the state, as well as Michigan and Wyoming, wanting to see our business model and ask how they made this happen.

This is such a great example of what students are capable of when given direction and encouragement.
