I Love Public Schools

I had a fantastic mentor teacher as an undergrad in teacher's college at UNL. She showed me what it meant to be a caring and compassionate professional, how to address individual needs of students, and how to "love students enough to hold them accountable". She died a few years ago, but her teachings remain a part of my practice today.
